The FSU Association of Retired Faculty and Friends recognizes several worthwhile FSU scholarship and donation programs that its members may wish to support. They include:
- The Bernard and Greta Sliger Presidential Scholarship. This program benefits gifted undergraduate students in the FSU Honors Program, heling them become transformative leaders both at FSU and after they graduate. https://spark.fsu.edu/Project/2886/Bernard-and-Greta-Sliger-Presidential-Scholarship. - Southern Scholarship. This foundation provides rent-free housing to students who lack financial resources, demonstrate excellent academic merit, and exemplify good character. - The Fellows Society. This program brings together outstanding graduate students who hold competitive fellowships to create opportunities for interdisciplinary networking and learning. Information may be obtained at https://fellowssociety.fsu.edu/ The fund number is F07506.

- Student Emergency Funds (F08909) are used to support students facing financial crises and address needs for food insecurity and emergency travel to housing assistance.
- The FSU Food Pantry (F08184), called Food for Thought, accepts donations and also provides the opportunity for donors to purchase items directly on its Amazon wish list.
